Photo of your dinner (vol 2)
Discussion
My lovely other half bought me a 3 month "date night" subscription to thespicery.com for Valentine's Day - basically he knows I like to cook and this guarantees him a few decent dinners. So tonight's was Thai;
To start Tom Kha Gai (chicken and mushroom soup)
Pad Thai with Nam Prik for main (although I used fine rice noodles instead of flat for preference)
Finally for dessert, Mango sticky rice topped with black sesame seeds.

Salmon Tacos tonight. Decided to try my hand at making the tortillas too - they tasted good but were a bit short. Less butter next time.
I pickled the shallots/chillies for a couple of hours in cider vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. This worked a treat and was so simple.

Fish tacos are miles ahead of the normal chicken fajita ste that people serve. Delicious.I pickled the shallots/chillies for a couple of hours in cider vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. This worked a treat and was so simple.
