Pie of the day for dinner the other night at our local pub which is about 100yds away.

A huge wedge of made on the premises steak and ale pie with chunky twice cooked chips, loads of thick gravy and a pile of mixed veg which were on another plate.

So good I don't think I'll ever try to cook another pie.

That looks good, I've not had pie for a while and I have now got a hankering for one!

An 8 hour oven cooked brisket on a flatbread with a gherkin mustard mayo and Red's True BBQ sauce (now available from ASDA)

Bloody lovely, almost everything you post is inspiring
Thanks Cheddar. I enjoy the general high standard of food in these pages and like to share when I've produced something appealing. Believe me I need inspiration as I often lack ideas especially for midweek meals.

I'll second that. Fantastic looking, inventive food, and great photography that makes the mouth water and the stomach rumble! cloud9

People seem to think that their Smartphone cameras are brilliant because they have lots of megapixels. But with their teeny tiny lenses and miniscule LED flash, they just can't compete with even the cheapest bridge camera, never mind a full DSLR.

Big thanks to Pferdestarke for his Korean Fried Chicken recipe!!

Came out great and family loved it...

I fried off some onions, spring onions, and green peppers in soy and added them for a little balance.

Your sauce was fantastic! thumbup

That looks great. Will have to try it.

Mine tonight. Chicken with buffalo mozerella and some Italian deli ham. Hand cut chips.

Home cured cold smoked applewood salmon (farmed)

Then some decent snags and homemade burgers and a bit of aged rump, with grilled vegetables and too much bread on half of the ProQ Frontier.

From this.

To thiA with lemon juice, fresh oregano, thyme, tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, butter and lyonnaise potatoes.

Caught a load more, around 30 in total which we'll smoke in the grandfathers smoker.

New pizza place, these have appeared in such topics as 'photos of your lunch'.

Take away, pre-cooked, and cooked at home.
