Ok, just me again...

Last night we had Car Sui BBQ pork.

I practically lived on those for a week in Singapore when I was very ill and staying in a hotel. It was all I seemed to fancy.

They looked pretty much identical to yours.

I wouldn't say it brings back happy memories, because I was pretty ill, but I do remember the club sandwiches fondly. smile

Not posted on here for a while, partly down to being in Greece doing a restaurant recce for our wedding.

After being back in work for three days I have had cravings for slow cooked lamb, so tonight it was kleftico and saganaki.

All veg and herbs grown on the family allotment too thumbup

Slow cooked Lebanese spiced minced lamb with peppers, in a hollowed out marrow.



Tesco Tempura battered chicken strips in a pea and curry sauce, served on rice.

Got mates coming round to watch the rugby, hope they are hungry!

Pulled chicken, Mexican rice, refried beans, chilli beans, salsa, cheese and sour cream. All home made.

Spanish flavours this afternoon - always a crowd pleaser.

Calamari, red pepper, tomato, onion, garlic, chili, white wine, chicken stock, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, parsley and rice.

Taste of the Med.
