I'd be all over that, as would Mr MC. He's a committed vegetable dodger, but loves Indian.

It's one of the only cuisines where being without meat really doesn't register.

Here's today's lunch. We had Vada Pav which is a spiced potato burger with chilli and coriander chutneys. Cauliflower shish, bhel puri and steamed rice dumplings. We should have ordered okra fries again as they're simply delicious.

Chicken Katsu Curry

Sadly just a Ready Meal from Waitrose, but it was quite tasty. Not a big enough portion though.

that looks incredible, minus the Anaemic chips...get yourself some sweet potato & make some sweet potato fries for next time...So much nicer IMO!

Was this in a restaurant, or home made?

I made this at home...Signed up to these guys a while back, www.simplycook.com. Tonight we're having Goan fish curry.

It's pretty much changed how we eat during the week.

£8.99 for one box containing 4 meal blends per month. We tend to order more as and when needed.

After adding the fresh veg and meat they average out at around £4.50 per head. Not bad considering the quality of food and variety on offer.

I don't get the idea of those things. A tenner spent in the herbs and spices aisle of the supermarket will keep you going for months, millions of recipes for free online. Where's the value in those boxes?

It takes the hassle of what to cook each night. I do all the cooking and can't always be arsed to decided what to eat. So it works for us. It's not for everyone.

Fair enough, we end up eating a lot of salads and grilled meats through the week and cooking the more involved stuff when we have time. I could not be arsed making a fish curry after work laugh.

The other night we had chicken and noodles. The meal was served with fresh mint, sliced radish and halved clementine segments. If I saw that on a menu i'd probably pass for something else. It turned out to be one of my favourites. Helps with trying something new.

You get three pots of blended ingredients. Paste, spices, stocks, marinade, garnish etc..all depending on the dish. You add the rest.

That does sound good, we're quite adventurous eaters anyway. Love radish though, really good for adding texture in salads and wraps.
