Pepper stuffed with beef, spinach, tomatoes, onions, herbs and a little rice.

Avocado bon bons with some beef at the centre.

Basil sauce (not pictured)

Would I do it again?

Peppers needed something more spicy in them.

Bon bons were good, but I shouldn't prepare them in advance and should do them as I need them, so they don't get stuck together, hence not much of the pale green showing.

Smoked haddock, poached eggs, asparagus and some others. Pepper, lots of.

Eggs were perfect.

Really was rather tasty.

Take one Waitrose Roasted Mushroom Risotto ready meal (sorry), add in 3 rashers of grilled thick cut smoked bacon, sliced into squares and mixed in, then a thin layer of grated cheese on top, melted off under the still hot grill, with a little ground black pepper on the top.

Nice.

This looks like a great idea. Definitely going to give this a try!

We had an unexpected treat tonight.

This was Lidl's "De Luxe" frozen duck.

My God, it was bloody delicious. The stuffing was very good, if a bit under seasoned. The meat was very tender - I wondered if they had added something (chemical??). I have never had tender duck before. The fruity taste of the stuffing seems to have imparted itself to the meat, in a very pleasant way.

The orange sauce was a complete cheat, but a fantastic success. I only discovered that we didn't have any oranges an hour before the dish was due to be served. My wife made a bog standard Bisto gravy with a knob of butter for texture. After she poured her gravy, I added some orange juice. The resulting sauce was as good as anything that I have ever had in a restaurant.
When do you get out?

Just a snack, so perhaps doesn't qualify, but I present to you cheese and ham on toast, with a Super Hot variant of Sriracha sauce that I bought yesterday.

It was good. Really good.

Sorry, I don't understand.

If you are suggesting that I don't eat out, then here is a photo of the last Michelin starred restaurant that I ate in:-
