Firstly, your picture above is very 'cotty-esque', well done.
Firstly, I could never emulate the Cottster in sheer volume. I am not worthy. bow
Secondly, Cotty is as thin as a rake (no, really) whereas I can not so much as look at a lettuce leaf and put weight on. frown
And, lastly. Thanks. I think. biggrin

I was really hungry last night, so doubled up on the Ostrich steaks... With chilli prawns, sweet potatoes, avocado, tomato. And Pino.

Bloody lovely, as always.
This looks so good. I'm going to try and replicate this...

crushed potatoes
These sound so pretentious, and became more so when they became fashionable in restaurants a year or two ago....but, in fact, roasted, crushed new potatoes are bloody lovely and make such a nice change from boiled/mashed/regular roasts etc.

Nice one.

It's time to break out the slow cooker.

In about 10 hours we'll be having lamb shank, red wine sauce and mash.

Takes all sorts right! Can't just have posh grub all the time.

You went back 18 months to find that, that's my old house!

Just having a laugh, nothing meant by it.

I think we've all improved in our cooking over the course of this thread.
