What's going on with that cauli, Pferdy?
It's an indian spiced rub which ended up very toasted. It tasted excellent but just looked a little overdone.

Yes - a mushroom and butternut squash risotto with tomato powder, chilli and oregano toasted breadcrumbs.

The fillet of fish was probably the star of the show there.

My first post in here.

Tonight's homemade curry was, lamb Kofta curry with Aloo Shimla Mirch (the peppers and new potato side dish) courgette chutney and a lemon raita. With thanks to a certain spice company for the spices and instructions. Best non take away curry I've ever had / cooked.

Jambalaya, one of them things you cook and you wonder 'why don't I do this more'.

Tried the Pferdestarke Korean chicken tonight. Most splendid. I overcooked the chicken a touch, and next time I will make twice as much sauce. But superb, nonetheless. Despite the stty iPhone photo and lacklustre plating up!

It's not meant to be pretty, just massively satisfying which it sounds like you achieved. Good stuff.

Another lovely rib of beef. Was on special offer for Mother's Day at £10 a kilo, so I got two and put one in the freezer smile

Looks fantastic. I just took these out of the oven for a quick pic. Peppers stuffed with cheese wrapped in bacon

Oh god yes, the saltiness of the bacon, hitting the heat of the peppers and the melted cheese cloud9
