Started like this

Ended like this with triple cooked chips, peas plus mushrooms and onions with mustard and cream.

and a cut through

Could have done it a being a little darker on top. Not the best quality steak I've ever had but was very good value.

Plus, no prawns. I can't be doing with prawns in a fish pie; without fail they are always overcooked and rubbery. What's the point of wrecking delicious prawns? I'd rather fry them up and serve on the side if I was that desperate to have them.
The trick is to use frozen prawns, that way they don't overcook. smile

They look very good - and given I love hot/buffalo wings, have an Actifry, and copious amounts of Franks, I need to try this. Did you partially cook the wings before adding Franks?

I cooked them in the actify for 20/25 mins, you can do this without the paddle in. Add the paddle then added the whole (small) bottle, could probably have done with two bottles. Then another 20/25mins. There is a Youtube video ill try and link to later.

Moroccan fish stew.

It's a Bill Granger recipe.

I also added saffron and some preserved lemon.

Fresh plaice (as in a couple of hours from the boat!) tray baked in olive oil with cherry vine tomatoes, butter, salt and pepper. Served with anchovies and capers with jersey royals, a green salad and some baguette. Lovely! Oh, and a nice drop of Pouilly-Fumé.

I didn't go for the extra seasoning and knob of butter, I just used the sauce.

Lamb chops fried in an anchovy and garlic butter, with (very slightly) mustardy mash. The asparagus were cooked in the pan after the chops were taken out to rest.

The money shot:-
