Swedish meatballs. Never done meatballs before, but I rather enjoyed them, so they might become a thing now.

Made a version of this after seeing this post. Swapped the spring onions for leeks, added some thyme, garlic, diced sweet potato and used dijon mustard instead of grain, was really tasty, thanks for the recipe smile

Slow roast shoulder of lamb with a garlic, thyme, rosemary and olive oil marinade.

With salsa verde.

Lamb podina/pudina curry and rice. Best curry i've ever made I think - lamb was lovely, being neck fillet.

Very fresh, due to the fresh mint, and coriander, and a squeeze of lemon. A great balance between hot, sour and sweet - I used lots of fresh green chilli, some sugar, fairly sharp tomatoes & a little white wine vinegar.

Made from scratch with fresh green chilli, coriander, and mint, and curry powder, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander leaf, green cardamon, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and bay leaves (and a teaspoon of curry paste when I felt it wasn't strong enough - seemingly just needed more time to simmer)

Top work.

I've had satay skewers in the oven/grill tonight. Bloody lovely with thigh meat.

(Thanks to ApOrbital for fixing it!)

This was a 32oz beast with a large helping of fries and hot sauce, then they brought some onion rings over.

Cheap and cheerful after work snack!

Not much effort is required to make your own meatballs.

They were served with basmati rice and some lightly toasted pine nuts.

No pasta.

But do the ingredients differ from A traditional ragu in any way?

This was Moroccan inspired so the addition of cumin, coriander, cinnamon, preserved lemon give it a different flavour.
