Fantastic pictures Blown2CV. Delicious!

Here is a selection of culinary delights from a recent trip to Poland.

Highly impressed with the quality of food there.

That last pic looks fantastic 2CV. See how nice we are on this thread-unlike the nasty lease thread hehe
apparently oysters and white wine is a breakfast tradition! Only too happy to get involved!

yea on the lease thread i've been banned from that one now so i am sure that's sorted the bhing and whining........ oh no, you mean it hasn't? smile

i guess the key is that in this thread we stay on topic!! With that....

Looks amazing, all apart from the massive Monkfish jaw jutting up at you reminding you what an ugly bugger you're eating. Is it maybe the Restaurant's tribute to the Millau Viaduct. biggrin
exactly... i was hoping for more meaty tail but it was perfectly nice. I forgot to get a photo of the excellent pintxos unfortunately, some really great stuff in that part of spain that i guess are a bit tapas esque in some ways but different recipes and more fun (IMHO)

Cassoulet in Carcasonne

Everything that is good about Cassoulet is right there in that picture. Looks simply marvellous. I could eat that right now.
It was a v good one... the best one was in toulouse at a place called Chez Emile... best cassoulet in france winner 3 years on the bounce i think! Worth noting! Toulouse is a surprisingly foodie destination, but isn't often talked about like that.

How do you make the Korean style roasts?

You just make some good crispy roasts and toss them in a mixture of Korean hot paste, tomato purée, fish sauce and honey. Then sprinkle some crushed peanuts and coriander over to finish.

It's just something I made up as an accompaniment to this meal which had an Asian twist.

Found a great place local to me for lunch. Shame the sun had just gone behind the clouds.

They have an outdoor bar and a massive brick built pizza oven. Also have a DJ on playing relaxed summer music. Down to the detail then.....

No idea why posting from an iphone rotates the picture

It was bloody delicious.

Got a new Lodge 10" cast iron pan so set about doing sausage and veg. Started on the hob then transferred to the oven. Still needed a bit more cooking at this point.

Sorry for the delay. I've only just seen your message. It's at The Fox Inn, Stourton. In between Stourbridge at Kinver. I"m not sure how to hyperlink on this site, tried previously using the method in formatting help but it didn't work. This is their website though
