that induced spontaneous watering of the chops. Edited to add-i see you ate both fillets. What were they, 150-175g per?
That was mine and was nearly 170g, my wife's was 165g, I know the weights as I had to check them to decide which one to have.hehe

Mine was perfectly cooked for me and only mooed a couple of times on the way to my mouth, I cooked hers for about 2 minutes longer and it didn't moo at all.

I've still got a couple of Wagyu ribeyes and a Wagyu Chateaubriand in the freezer, pictures will be taken when they get cooked.
I'm a huge fan of chateaubriand . Where did you order it from, if I may ask

I was recommended to www.meatmeathome.com when one of my friends ordered a load of Iberico Pork from them for his birthday barbecue.

The Plumas cooked rare was fabulous and I had to have some and when I ordered it I added a few bits of Wagyu and USDA beef on as well, I haven't been disappointed yet and the Plumas is still waiting in the freezer for when I fire up the barbie.

I picked up 2 X 320gm aged Ribeye steaks from our local Butchers in Surrey. Their meat is always superb. I'll post some pics later. 3m/side. Rest for 6 min. Serving with Portobello mushrooms, sweet potato fries and green beans.

Oh you fancy bugger. I've got man flu and it's cold, so a nice winter warmer to sort me out.

Yes, it held up to the gravy test!

A couple of quick meals.

M&S southern Fried Chicken which is the real deal and surprisingly low calories with a shed load of green vegetables. Coupled with scrambled egg, 2 whole eggs +6 whites. Mushrooms.

Last nights effort. details in post above. The steak was from a large piece of meat so was thin otherwise it would have been 500g+ Shame really . It was very tasty though

I also made these two cakes last week. First time I've ever made a cake and they came out very well. Classic Carrot cake and Victoria Sponge. I even made my own Jam. Complete virgin. The MIL was very impressed. I've now been roped in to make my daughters birthday cake

Don't know about scrambled eggs and mushrooms with Fried Chicken and Green Veg to be honest. Strange Combination for me. Sorry!

Love Bangers and Mash, that would be perfect for me. Which Bangers though?

It's purely to hit my protein intake. My diet is weird when i'm on it. You would want to see my lunch- smoked salmon, anchovies and cottage cheese with a few rice cakes.

One of lifes toughest questions. Meat content, herbs, skin thickness and colouring have all come into questioning when procuring the king of pork. All have been put on trial and one became victor.

The answer to the conundrum is simpler that you can imagine, as the answer is in the name of the product itself; Debbie & Andrews Perfect Pork Sausages. Tidy.

Bought the steaks for dinner and the sausage for the freezer. Sadly the steak didn't last long enough for an on the plate photo. £17.80 for the lot. Bargain.
