Sorry, I'm particularly anal about Italian food.
Also, no herbs at all in/on ragu...
sigh. Also, no herbs at all in/on ragu...
Curry isn't meant to be wet
Don't combine chorizo and chicken in the same dish
no cream in carbonara (actually I agree with this one)
no brown in town
don't nose the fking stilton
etc etc etc etc

While we're on the topic...
Pasta PLUS bread??
I was told you shouldn't have a nan if you have rice with your curry. But as people ignore my rule about mixing sweet and savoury in the same dish I will continue to have a nan and rice Pasta PLUS bread??
Valentines night had to be deferred due to business reasons beyond our control but I managed to catch up tonight. Killed two birds with one stone though as tomorrow this will also be my entry in the "Curry Competition".
A fully home made Thai curry with red pepper, squid and scallops, black rice and Thai spiced and panko breadcrumbed aubergine slices. A nice Languedoc for me, red roses and a chilled Sauvignon for her, all good so far!!
