Gretchen, In the interests of getting a new competition in play, do we call it a draw and choose a new ingredient or style ?
I'm happy with that.
What were you thinking? Initially I'd have something like an F1 race location theme (we do this each race weekend). But today is last race of the season: Brazil.
Right - Lets get on with it - Brazilian it is. Upto 4 photos of your creation including the ingedients, preparation/cooking and on the plate. Only the on the plate photo will be used in the voting thread.

Given we normally have a couple of weekends to sort things out plus a couple of days, entries will close at 24:00 GMT the 13th December with voting from the 14th to 22nd so we have a winner for Xmas and a new comp in the new year.

Get cooking !

As you, Shirt and Badger could not get round to entering anything Gretchen and myself have agreed a draw. Brazilian was suggested and I'm happy with that. I'm back in the UK to visit my Mum but I may get an opportunity if I do not have to stay for the funeral.

I see my bad frown I really need to make more of an effort and get back to this.

Brazilian aye will need to go some research on this one as I have no idea.

December was a bad month for me due to 2 visits to the UK in 3 weeks (34 hours door to door !) so I have been out of action for a bit. I'm still up for a bit of cooking invention. How do we restart ? Maybe something simple like "Cheese"?

Ive put a post in the photo of your dinner thread to drum up some interest.

I was thinking of going for something simple too like steak to try and get people involved. I don't think we have had steak before and everyone (unless vege) post pictures of steak on the POYD thread. It's also pretty versatile when it comes to ability, you can have it simple or very involved.

Happy to setup and moderate a new thread though.

I'm in for a meat feast but think of the Veggies. On second thoughts :censor'd: them. I will come in the second half of voting due to poor preso so what do I care ! As long as we get temps below 30C I will cook something !

Are yes I did think of our upside down brothers when I saw the news this morning... guess meat isnt top of the menu at the moment.

Will get something together tonight or tomorrow.
