Nando's crisps. It says on their website that you can get them from all well known supermarkets, but I've checked sainsburys, morrisons, Tesco, and asda (shudder)and I can't get them anywhere. I used to be able to get them from my local sainsburys but they haven't stocked them in a nearly a year or so.
These, and Nando's nuts, seem to have completely disappeared from the shelves. Shame!

'Mousse' - ie. the frozen desserts which came in chemical-tasting 'peach', 'chocolate' and 'strawberry' flavours.

These were truly disgusting but one brand was actually nice - 'Lovely' chocolate mousse - Joanna Lumley did the voice-over on the TV ad.

I miss them.
Mousse? Pah! Supermousse was the one to have....
TESCO do frozen mousse deserts

Anyone remember those cakes that had a chocolate shell and were filled with a fondant filling, very delicate but yummy.

Has anyone mentioned Cremola yet (not Creamola)? It was a sort of combination of custard and semolina. I used to quite like it although I'd probably find it repulsive now!

Tunnock's tea cakes? Still widely available if so.

Used to be just marketed as Tangy Twiglets.

According to the Jacobs website these exist but I've not seen them in years.

"Bugles" which were crisps in the shape of a bugle..

Used to do them in Safeways, as well as "Jumpies" which were cheese flavoured hollow kangaroo crisps.

They looked at me like I was talking another language when I asked about the dips in our local one. They sell the marinade bottles but not the dip. Tesco used to sell them too but not anymore.

i reckon they were a cheaper version , slightly bigger and the chocolate was not as good but better than the sum of parts

Dutch NVR pickled gherkins in a 2.45kg jar.

There was a place on Amazon that used to sell these, but now all I can seem to find are chip shop wholesale suppliers. frown

I emailed the place and they said they sold other gehrkins, but they couldn't give me any reason why they'd stopped stocking these, and another place said they were out of stock.

So if anybody knows a non trade place I could get a few jars, I'd be grateful. smile

St Ivel as a brand has pretty much disappeared, with products being sold to Dairycrest and Danone.
