Has anyone mentioned Puffa Puffa Rice yet? I used to love that stuff.
And what the hell happened to Golden Nuggets? The ones they sell now are a pale imitation of the ones from the 70s/80s.

Anyone remember those cakes that had a chocolate shell and were filled with a fondant filling, very delicate but yummy.
Tunnock's tea cakes? Still widely available if so.
No not them, this was in the early 70's.
i reckon they were a cheaper version , slightly bigger and the chocolate was not as good but better than the sum of parts
Just a plain any brand tea cake, although strangely not a "tea cake" at all!

Was that the orange coloured version of what would be a Rice Krispie Square today? Our local leisure centre had those in the vending machine when I was a kid, together with those bars of chocolate covered 'honeycomb' in different flavours - mint, orange, strawberry.

St Ivel as a brand has pretty much disappeared, with products being sold to Dairycrest and Danone.
A great shame.

pretty sure they'd be 'illegal' these days too, isn't it now against the law to associate snack foods with popular kids characters as part of anti-fat legislation?

Shame, Peppa Pig (peppered pork flavour) crisps would make a killing!

'Mousse' - ie. the frozen desserts which came in chemical-tasting 'peach', 'chocolate' and 'strawberry' flavours.

These were truly disgusting but one brand was actually nice - 'Lovely' chocolate mousse - Joanna Lumley did the voice-over on the TV ad.

I miss them.
Mousse? Pah! Supermousse was the one to have....

?

yuck
Tesco sell them
