Not to me.

I had the best burger of my life at Five Guys burger shop in the USA and it looked a lot closer to the one in this picture than it does to the gourmet burgers we have become used to salivating over.

It was a great burger and taught me that two fat and flavour packed patties can be better than an 8 oz steakburger and that a soggy brioche roll can be better than a toasted bun

Think so. I remember buying a 2 pack some years ago, I binned it i think, offered the other to someone else at the first opportunity. They may have improved since - I'm sure alcohol before the meal is a pre req, too!

The only thing I do differently is add a bit of lettuce. I normally like my burger buns toasted, but there is something satisfying about a microwaved burger, bread and all, so that the finished product feels like a hot floppy edible dish cloth covered in melted cheese in your mouth.
