Saturday nights soaker upper.
Large chips with chicken and mushroom pie. The pile of chips was massive, this was half way through, then the misses decided she could take no more of her bab and threw that on top also.
I felt quite full after that I tell thee.

The worrying thing is I used to frequent Munchies a lot. To be fair that and Silver Grill are the two dirtiest looking places in Harehills.
Think silver grill has been sanitized now though eh lol! Lyko said:
This was from a place called YFC (Yorkshire fried chicken) in Halifax. Probably the best chicken burgers I had and that's saying something!
They look good; slightly reminiscent of the early 80's KFC chicken fillet burger.I've yet to find a good chicken fillet burger joint near me. They all seem to be processed, thin crap. In Richmond, Surrey; any pointers anyone?

Forgot about the fire, I was eating in at Charcoal Chicken that night. Drove past and saw the commotion. I remember thinking about all the fried chicken at HFC that will have been lost as a result of the fire, a damn shame!
Ha i know, Shai Naan, YFC, Silver Grill all toast. I was cycling home from work, saw the embers coming off the roof & a big crowd of people, lucky no one was in the flats above.OdramaSwimLaden said:

Rocky's in Cranford (on the A4). Legendary chicken burger. And you have to get their "chill mayonnaise" on your fries I've yet to find a good chicken fillet burger joint near me. They all seem to be processed, thin crap. In Richmond, Surrey; any pointers anyone?

I remember going into Silver Grill one night, probably around 1am. I ordered a chicken tikka kebab in naan and watched as they deep fried the bloody chicken. There are a silly amount of takeaways within a square mile around there. Edited by giblet on Tuesday 20th August 11:50
