I decided I needed a takeaway for lunch today. I sent the apprentice down the kebab shop with £10 and told him to get me something dirty!
This is what he bloody came back with! Kids these days have no imagination! Oh and I only got 20p change from that lot!

Hehe I have mentioned on here before how expensive it is to buy any takeaway food round here but everyone then chimes in thinking I am exaggerating!
Yes! This cost £9.80 and tasted crap and yes that is about the normal price for food around here!

Sweet and sour chicken balls, chips, fried beansprouts. The brown stuff is Pearl River Bridge soy sauce, 100000000x better than Amoy et al.
Our preferred Chinese takeaway is shut while the proprietors are on hol. This was a bit disappointing - chicken was rather dry and the sauce tasted like washing up liquid! The mrs had chicken in black bean sauce which to be fair was pretty decent.

Thought I would sample Rusholmes finest tonight.... Rusholme chippy.
The picture doesn't really show it in its true light. Couldn't decide which one to get so bought a chicken (on the bone) kebab and the kobeda kebab. It all came individually wrapped with loads of salad and four sauces!
Walking up the curry mile tonight felt like being on holiday with all the different smells, bars and food places. The street was packed!
Got to love Manchester!

Looks quite small, how much was that.
Seriously wasn't small! The kobeda was the size of my forearm and the chicken one was 6 pieces.I have a picture on my phone of them made up.. I'll upload it.
£10.. Not bad
