Is that free-range chicken?

I imagine it probably is.

Higher welfare at the very least.

Steak 'n Shake burgers are the best. About my favorite in the US. They're a bit greasy, but delicious and have crispy edges.

Imagine my delight when I discovered their late night menu caters for fat guys and stoners in the form of their 7x7 burger; 7 patties, 7 slices of cheese, glorious in the absence of any salad. It's 1400 calories and according to our kitchen scale comes in at a hair under 1.5lbs.

Also, because we had to wait a few minutes, without a hit of irony the waitress handed me 2x large fries for free. Like giving a drowning man a glass of water biggrin

Anyway, here it is:

Finished along with all the fries and a big milkshake because I'm not a girlyman.
Cat is slightly ashamed of me though wink

If you ever find yourself in midwest US swing by and try one, disgustingly OTT as they are they're bloody tasty. All for $7.77, or £4.50 in real money lick

Or if you're in Vegas In N Out (one of the few who come close to Steak & Shake's level of loveliness) do similar with as many as you like. We're out there in October and I've committed the lads to either a 10 patty In N Out challenge, or the biggest thing on the menu at the heart attack grillbiggrin

It's pretty amazing, all the better for having some norks to take your mind off what you're doing to yourself by being there.
Their vegan menu was enough to convince me it's my kinda place ( choice of camel, Marlboro or lucky strike)

Edited because my iPad is a tard.

I could murder that now.

After 2 months of no alcohol, went out for my Dad's birthday last night, few beers, some champagne, moving onto the scotch... I'm struggling this morning. If only McD's did delivery through Just Eat, I certainly can't drive.

Got pics to post of yesterday's lunch, dirty it was.
