Steak 'n Shake burgers are the best. About my favorite in the US. They're a bit greasy, but delicious and have crispy edges.
Imagine my delight when I discovered their late night menu caters for fat guys and stoners in the form of their 7x7 burger; 7 patties, 7 slices of cheese, glorious in the absence of any salad. It's 1400 calories and according to our kitchen scale comes in at a hair under 1.5lbs.
Also, because we had to wait a few minutes, without a hit of irony the waitress handed me 2x large fries for free. Like giving a drowning man a glass of water
Anyway, here it is:
Finished along with all the fries and a big milkshake because I'm not a girlyman.
Cat is slightly ashamed of me though

Mrs wijit has taken mini wijit to visit the Mcwijit's north of the border for a week. I do my best to avoid domestic duties and keep washing up to a minimum. First is last nights, Chicken Tikka Dopiaza with pilau rice. Disappointingly I had to wash a plate and a fork for this.
Tonights effort, and altogether a much filthier job No washing up except for my fingers. Large Keema on garlic naan.

Perfect after a few beers.
I really can't describe how good the burger is. It's ridiculously hot, so you end up with a thermonuclear beef and cheese melty, greasy piece of heaven with crispy edges

I know it's full of very strange people but it must be worth it.
My local chippy just keeps getting better,first they get a bab machine ,now this chicken special,chicken chunks fried up with mushrooms,onions and some spices with whatever sauce you want ,I had Irish curry,gravy next time.had job getting it on an oval plate
