Oh and here's some other junk from this month

Chicken donner and chips

Masala fish and chips

Mixed grill from a Lebanese place, rather damn good

A "healthy" jacket potato

Plenty of others that I never got round to taking a picture of. Need to calm down for the rest of the month.

Cheers, an area I don't think I've ever been close to on foot, maybe one day I'll get out of the car and try this.

Not much to report from me at the moment, I think I've finally realised I'm slowly killing myself with greed and laziness, however just before that happened there was a special fried rice, mushroom curry and chips...

Oh and a chicken, bacon and cheese burger but not a takeaway:

I dare say I'll be back with something else soon, I have zero willpower.

Yup chicken parmo. Wasn't even hungry at the time.

Eh? There's salad, there's Galsgow Salad, and there's, erm, what the hell is that actually?
Chicken parmo (deep fried chicken breast laced in bechamel and cheddar cheese).
How come I've never heard of this delight? Is it some regional/national perversion which hasn't crossed the borders of Berkshire yet?

It does, in a way.... but I'd wager the curry, rice & chips tastes a WHOLE lot better than Poutine!

wikipedia said:
Parmo is a breaded cutlet dish originating in Middlesbrough, England. It typically consists of deep-fried chicken in bread crumbs topped with a white béchamel sauce and cheese. The Parmo originated as escalope Parmesan, a derivative of veal or chicken parmigiana. The parmo is said to have been created by Nicos Harris, a chef with the United States Army in World War II. He was wounded in France, but was brought to the United Kingdom to be treated in a British hospital. Eventually, he moved to Middlesbrough and opened a restaurant on Linthorpe Road, where he created the parmo at The American Grill in 1958.

Not sure about that! Poutine has been compared to Crack Cocaine

I've not had poutine, is it a French dish? If so, I'm not sure I'd want to try it given it's name!

Starting to see poutine pop up in a few restaurants due to the current BBQ/burger craze.

I think it's Canadian in origin, but it's chips, cheese curds and gravy.

The only one I've ever tried was kinda rubbish, but I bet it could be good.

Well worth trying. I feel your pain, I behaved myself for the majority of last month and also upped my cardio work at the gym. Burnt 20,000 calories and shifted 4kg as a result. Eaten too much junk this month with next to no exercise and I've put weight on as a result.

Had some average chips and below average fish last night from The Great Yorkshireman on Kirkstall Rd. The junk continues...
