I've had quite a few takeaways recently that I didn't feel dirty enough to post in here, delicious as they were. This all changes at the end of September when myself and a few friends are heading to Glasgow - it's gonna be a 3 day onslaught of artery hardening filth. Cannot wait.

On Monday this week I emigrated to Dubai. Have had a few nights out this week, and been to some lovely eating esablishments. Tonight I have had a night alone, catching up on some admin with a few beers, knowing I spotted a kebab shop in the cab on the way home last night around 01:00 that would be open. Been looking forward to it all evening.

So after a 10 minute walk there, and a 10 minute walk back this is what I ended up with. A nice bag:-

And a very average "waffle" kebab! Approx £7 (39 AED).

It actually tasted ok, but was very small, and a little odd....... On the way back I spotted another shop, so during my first 45 days in this accomodation I am sure I will try at some point and post back if any better. There is also another one 15 mins walk away I also spotted in cab last night as well, so at least I have some choice!

A waffle seems like a whole new kind of meat delivery system. Needs more research!

I vote for kebab, or kebab and curry. Treat yourself.

Jealous beyond belief.

Mrs PS is cooking tonight. Vegetable bake which, if I'm lucky, will be ready at 10pm.

And fennel tea.

Help me.

Sounds like you are beyond help. When you look up, do you see this?

If so, MTFU and tell her you want BACON. The manliest meat in existence. And do not take no for an answer! biggrin
