I give it a maximum of one week before the novelty wears off...
It is something I've been doing for a couple of months to be honest, bought it back in early November. I was just supplementing it with takeaway. It's an easy way to take in lots of fruit and veg, I stuck 6 plum tomatoes, an apple, a tangerine, 12 grapes, a handful of raspberries and a banana in it this morning. I had a soup for lunch and I'll have a healthy dinner. That and this insanity training thing I've just got, I'll be an iron man in no time... maybe.

I realise this isn't the health food thread, but that is a metric shipload of sugar with no fibre - it's probably as unhealthy as the plates full of beige that I pop in to see. Or do I have a 'whoosh' coming?

It's perfectly healthy - fresh fruit. Not the refined/processed sugar. Can't compare to the likes of Mars bar/ice cream/fizzy soda pop etc. Or do I have a 'whoosh' coming?

the problem is it breaks down the cellulose, i.e fibre therefore reducing the fibre benefits and opens up the fructose into one lump sum, which when absorbed by the liver.also dietary fructose in the natural form is gradually absorbed, processed i.e chopped up is released in spikes, again not a good way to take it..Excess fructose consumption has been hypothesized to be a cause of insulin resistance, obesity so for this thread maybe a good idea.
back on topic thou.

Sugar is sugar whatever way you take it and sugar = calories. Better for you than chocolate and fizzy drinks granted but you need to watch fruit intake if you are trying to lose weight.
Very true, its sugar that's the killer when it comes to weight loss, more so than fat! Plenty of protein and minimal carbs (sugar) are the trick to losing and maintaining weight. Not posted in here for a while. Had plenty of takeaways in the past few months but kept forgetting to take pics.
Tried meat donner for the first time in my life today. I've always refused to eat it as I don't trust the source or quality of the meat.
Plate of sliced stuff after it was nuked -
Stuffed into a pitta with some red onion and plenty of sauce
I know some of you may cry foul and claim it's not a takeaway but the stuff I ate is a trade only thing which is supplied to takeaways.
