What you see hiding in the soft pillowy bun my friend is one of two battered chicken fillets.

Whilst quite moist and tender they were a little soggy and in general a 4/10.

I look fo ward to seeing your filth today.

Breakfast is served, sausage, egg and cheese bagel, eaten first as I savoured the best last, double sausage and egg mc muffin,

I forgot how good the sausage and egg muffins are, could really do with a nice packet of biscuits now to go with the stewed tea that I left the bag in too long, more focused on getting the mains down me,

Whilst looking amazing not really fitting for this thread, therefore in the context of this thread McDonalds wins hands down IMO.

Why have I never put the hash brown in the middle of the muffin. Genius! I wonder if there is an McDonalds close to MB World??

Chap, ask your Mrs to cook a steak today.

Don't know if this classes as a take away, but after driving a horsebox 2 hours to an event for SWMBO and standing around all day in the freezing cold and skipping lunch, dinner was chips and cheese and a sausage of questionable provenance from the butty wagon. And damn it was filthy. lick

Oh that counts. Those chips are like oil tampons; soaking up all the reused oil from the last month (if you had a burger van you wouldn't change your oil every week would you?)

Without a doubt the sausage is MRM rich and has also been cooked and reheated on their flat-top with years of carbon build up scraped on to add flavour.

Then there's the cheese. It's probably fake.

It's a takeaway. And it's very dirty.

Sorry for posting these here but I couldn't find the "epic in every way takeaway" thread.

This little lot came in on Sunday. Had a lovely day out with the family, got the kids to bed and called in our favourite Chinese - wife's choice (well it was mothers' day) hence the greenery. However, it really was amazing - Yipin China in Islington.

Egg fried rice with salted chillies
Twice cooked duck
Steamed loofa with minced garlic
Broccoli with chillies

And the star of the show....

Chicken in a bed of red chillies.

Sweet Jesus this was hot. The first take away I've had where I've had to wash my hands BEFORE going to the toilet!!

Very nice - always a marked difference ordering takeaway from a place that also does sit down restaurant food in my experience.
