No breakfast + match tonight means a fish and chips lunch

Large cod (2 pieces) and chips, must admit defeat as I couldn't eat the smaller peice but that will be a snack when I get home tonight.

My turn to cook dinner tonight. Just ordered lamb dhansak, chicken tikka masalla, garlic naan, sag aloo and bhajis. Photos to follow.

Dhansak was very good, nice heat to it. The tikka masalla was a bit sweet but I only used that for mopping up naan. They gave me poppadoms this time and they were light and crispy, cats enjoyed them too.
4 big bhajis and decent naan, stuffed and happy.

That looks a bit pretentious for a 'filthy' takeway. Did you add accoutrements after the fact?
I did. needed to use coriander up as I was going away.

It added to it I tell thee!

Funny how a dirty take-away can be considered 'pretentious' just by adding some coriander. Says a lot about posh restaurants...!

I say you did the right thing.

That's a small portion, they are quite generous! Yep, needed something like that.

Fancied a kebab last night. Should probably just had the small chips, only just managed to eat it all.

remind me to post a picture of the Medium Donner from my local place, it's about four times bigger than this for £4 including separate onions, red cabbage and garlic mayo. I usually finish it the next day. I'll order one next Friday just for this job (I know, the sacrifices we make)

They also do a Large donner and an XL donner....

Comes from living in farming country, meat is cheap and the farm hands are hungry

Adding anything remotely green and leafy to a dirty takeaway is pretentious though really hehe

Looking good, Eski.

My fridge is too full to justify ordering a takeaway tonight, steak and chips it'll be, but a week Monday I have 4 days of takeaway with a group of friends which we do each year. We do it like Come Dine With Me, rating each others nights in secret and whoever ordered the best takeout for everyone gets reimbursed for their night at the end of the week smile

I haven't before as people always thought it was a bit weird when I tried to take shots of the food each night before it was dished up hehe I will do for my night, I'll see what I can do about the others.
