Totally misread this... as Knob launch sauce!
Ha!

That tub even quotes 'Eski' Davies on the bottom right.
Was wondering when that would be picked up on thumbup

These all look the same, perhaps I should try and order something else paperbag
Plus do you know how hard it is to multi quote on an iPhone, now bugger off the lot of you. biggrin
Hey wait don't drag me into this, there are certain rules. I don't usually buy a kebab but when I do its eaten out of the paper, putting it on a plate to stop the grease leaching into the table cloth/your lap acceptable but its still eaten off the paper.

Square rice, Chinese not Indian

Had a mega cod, chips and curry sauce from the chippy for lunch yesterday (Posh Fish, Oxford - try it!)

I was going to have a light dinner, but after a number of hours of Stress Analysis work last night I couldn't hold out anymore and was hungrier than ever. My drunk housemate came home and said he was ordering a kebab. I'm in I said.

He picked Perios. I picked a Chicken Salsa Wrap, a 10" tortilla served with fresh peppers, red onion, topped with salsa sauce. I opted for African Hot Peri Peri chicken, and having had a metric tonne of chips for lunch I decided that the wrap alone would be ample, before I gave up with my work and went to bed. This cost me the princely sum of £3.99.

I've fancied trying this place for ages, so I was excited, and hungry for hot chicken in a big fat wrap... then this little morsel arrived, squashed flat, small, and pencil like. I could have cried. It was tasty, but not spicy, and not big enough! My stress analysis problem wasn't going well, and now I was even more hungry.

My housemate suggested we order another bab... I declined, saying I was going to bed but he assured me delivery wouldn't take long since it was already 12.30am... I'M IN! This time I ensured we ordered from an actual bab house. This had to be right this time. I selected a large chicken donner wrap, with no salad of course, and garlic mayo. The wait ensued.

Then the knock at the door came, and I ran to find a wrap full twice as long and twice as fat, and gobbled it in a minute flat. So quick I forgot the pictures... but it hit the spot!

Yesterday was a good day for takeaway.

Sometimes it just needs to be done. And sometimes all it takes is the encouragement of a pissed mate to get you in the zone.

More points should be awarded to him than you as he was a) drunk on a work night (assuming he has a job), b) ordered not one, but two kebabs based on the first one being st.

He's a character, that's for sure.

Tuesday night, pissed, two kebabs and living in a house-share? I'm guessing they're both students and the sober one is on their placement year smile Top work, however!

It had to be done, especially after the initial appetiser that failed to deliver.

He is a character for sure, and two babs in one night very much sums up his blaze attitude to money, and oretty much everything in life. A character (and a problem) I inherited when the uni accommodation department put him in the spare room in my house rolleyes

Bingo - we're both students, but he is here for his fourth time doing the first year of yet another course, except he's not really doing it... and i'm studying engineering (and have been for nearly 4 years - its been a long winding road!) so I have no choice but to work!

Is that an actual sauce, looks like it's sitting in a puddle of oil?

It was a loose sweet and sour.

Just had the moulded remains for lunch.

It's from a takeaway I've been using for 30 years and it does the "classics" very well.

Ooooooh it's takeaway night!

Don't do this very often at all as I want to fit into my wedding suit.

However, tonight is the night. Going for a couple of sets at the tennis club followed by a couple of beers and going home for a Chinese or an Indian

Same here.

Well almost, I'm not getting married, and I don't play tennis.

Wife however is away for the weekend.

So its a round of golf tonight, take out of some description, I've not decided which yet.

Clean the car & watch F1 quali tomorrow.

Takeout tomorrow night or maybe i'll cook ribs & wings.

Donington for the BTCC on Sunday.

Ordering in 10 mins...

Chinese or Indian? I can't decide. This time last year it wouldn't matter as I'd have one tonight and the other tomorrow...

Either would be something nice and spicy.

So curry/rice/naan/pop&chutney or chinese/fried rice/chips/hot & sour soup/prawn crackers...

Hardest decision I've had to make in a while.
