Has there been an evacuation yet?

I'm trying a new one tonight. One which apparently local Indian folk are flocking to due to authenticity.

I shall report.

Yes, and it was full of regret!

It's a very good curry place that one, been a firm favourite this semester. Anyone in Oxford, try Bangla Kitchen.

Well you did go too far up the heat scale didn't you!

Do you lot reckon these takeaway curry houses are making their own bases or is that just silly?

If they're not, what are they using?

I think we've found our next PH dirty takeaway challenge.... assuming those Create-A-Burger things spread to all Mcds (doubtful though).

I think Pfederstarke has some some sort of magic filter on his camera that makes all food look amazing.

I agree! I can get hold of good kebabs and good burger/donner meat/cheese combos and take pictures of those, but I'm usually too embarrassed to put up my Chinese/Indians as they just don't compare! Here's my last Chinese that I had at my sisters:

I've spent so many years photographing food for this forum that Ive developed a steady hand and have invested in good lighting.

Occasionally a few are filtered if I use the saved Instagram image on my phone. I have an account dedicated to food on there with almost 700 "followers". I know it's another app to waste life on but for me it's a daily source of recipe inspiration.

It's a great platform for specific interests. FD&R is also good however I find it too quiet in comparison so post more regularly and easily on Instagram these days.

If anyon is active on there I'm foodcentraluk
