First time posting on this inspirational thread, having only found it (and read through most it and the predecessor!) a few days ago.

I've had 3 weeks of low carb diet, followed by tonsillitis for the past week. This has lead to a craving I'm sure many of you are familiar with.

On the menu

Chicken Balti
Naan
Doner Meat
Chips

et voila;

The question remaining, which chilli sauce?;

For locals, this was from Pepper Jacks in Crewe, which is the best takeaway around. For some reason even though its a kebab house, does a better curry than any of the indian places (yes, I've tried them all). I know kebab shop curry efforts are generally a weak affair, but don't hesitate to try this one.

I'd love to see people posting restaurant/location with their images, would be interesting to see if any locals show up!

I'd opt for the Cha Cha, as that's how he'll be walking after his ablutions tomorrow morning. Good first post though smile

Special 'Best Kebab' kebab inbound....

One lamb shish, one lamb kofte and one chicken kebab all lovingly laid by the chef on a bed of mixed chicken and lamb doner with mixed salad and a spicy capsicum jus served with artisan flatbreads.

Had one last week when Mrs Paolow was away - ate nothing but kebab for 36 hours.

Was on Just eat at the payment page about to click the pay by card button when a thought occurred...

"have you got any money?" "yeah why" "Ill get a special kebab if you pay for it" "done"

You have been, Mrs Paolow, you have been....
I must apologise to all - the 'bab arrived - though because it took a while we tore into it the second it arrived and I forgot to take pictures. Over 50% of ii sits in the frige though. Thats breakfast sorted anyway...

Haven't posted for while, nothing worthy of this thread. In Texas for two weeks with work so have a nice healthy snack of hot wings, okra and jalepeno ranch sauce.

If I have anything worthy I will report back. Had the ropiest Subway ever, but no pictures.

I will also take requests for anything from any of the popular SE Texas fast food establishments.

edit: woo 700 posts! I shall celebrate with a takeaway breakfast!

He's definitely in Nandos. But that seems steep. Not been for years, but used to get a chicken burger and double chips for under a tenner. That doesn't look like that much food.

Apologies. The cup on the side is larger than anything I've seen in the UK, but this was not a huge portion, hence "snack".
