Where to go for a burger in London
Discussion
Mr Hyde National Burger day is tomorrow.
Lots of 20% off vouchers for burgers around London and the UK. INCLUDING Bleecker street burger, which everyone should try. Seriously.

National Burger day? I may have so go out foraging for a burger at lunch time. Failing that there is always BK at Euston, but its not the same as a GBK or similar
Spielburger looks good. I shall add that to my list Just pinged them an e-mail asking them if they accept bookings.
Still want to try Honest Burger too.

No need to book at Spielburger. They're busy, but they have quick turnover (very relaxed, but hey're just quick), so you always get a table quickly.Spielburger looks good. I shall add that to my list Just pinged them an e-mail asking them if they accept bookings.

Im not a great fan of honest burger. I like the burgers but the rosemary fries just have far too much herb on them for me and if you get the onion rings then the rosemary clashes with the fenel in the onion rings.http://www.honestburgers.co.uk/news/
I wish these places would stop trying to outdo each other by having something "signature" and just get on with good burger and fries.
BrGr on Wardour St - Oxford St end.
They have 3 grades of burger, the middle one is perfectly fine - never tried the top grade.
Really nice burger, cooked exactly how you request it, and NO MAYONAYAISE - which to my mind has no place on any burger, anywhere.
I've tried pretty much everywhere else - Bleeker, Honest, Tommy's (I passed on Patty and Bun because Mayo seemed to be their major selling point) and BrGr is definitely my favourite.

I must admit im not a fan of Honest Burger's chips (ill no call them fries). They seem too crunchy, when they should be crispy if you know what I mean. Some of them is like biting on a pork scratching. Just some nice regular chips would be great. Is it really hard to say "no mayo"?
I am in the same camp and can't stand mayo on burgers or excessive (or in some cases any) sauce. Some places do not allow any substitutions/modifications whatsoever, which for a couple of places in particular around here being touted as some of the best burgers around is a bit irritating - one in particular is dripping with their mayo/sauce stuff which completely ruins what is a superb burger.
At the other end of the scale, if I couldn't specify an in-n-out burger without their sauce I would never have another ever again
