I have found out, its not a very good idea to drink 1 henry westsons vintage then a katy, then vintage then katey then vintage then then a katy...
was not a good morning nor the next day.
but it was a good night with very tasty cider.
my excuse was that is was on offer at 65% off as it was a day of the sell by date, and i didnt want to be drinking cider a day after the sell by date

Not really a cider drinker, however recently tried Henney's Dry at a mate's and really enjoyed it. Hence, I've actually been buying some with my own money.
Lovely.

I'm going to get shot down for this... So ill done my fireproof jacket, trousers and gloves (all bought via the Porsche website) as I declare that I don't by non-British cider in order to support the local economy. I've no idea if I'm correct in doing this or indeed speaking about it, but I've seen several short articles about cider producers (not ones attached to big brewers) and feel it's my little way to support local brewers. In saying that, the Savannah is nice and normally on offer. Been handed it several times by friends who buy it for 'O don't forget David drinks cider' reasons. And that it's normally on offer
And I'm certainly not questioning you mad4amanda... Just thinking out aloud.
Don`t worry to a large extent I agree , I normally buy ale that is brewed 25 miles away or Harveys if I fancy a trip to the brewery for a pin. Even have a friend with a small brewery in essex so appreciate what your saying. Cider I have found more difficult apart from Biddenden cider but will have to look this year .
This savannah wasn't in that class but was refreshing and disappeared quickly enough.
cheers!

Meanwhile, for some insane reason, I was tempted by 'Rekordelig orange and ginger cider' at Lidl.
Please, no-one be tempted to follow suit. £1.99 for 500ml of 4% ABV ought to have been warning enough.
I merely tried it on a whim. Horrible artificial orange flavour, but if you like 'Chase marmelade vodka' you'll love it. I promise.
