I'm a big fan of Fever Tree here not bought anything since I tasted it a couple of years ago. Price has come down too of late with it around £3 for pack of 4 but was on offer in Sainsburys the other week at £2.46 so I stocked up.
Also picked this up the other day in Waitrose, not seen it before, but rather nice.

Warner Edwards is fabulous (and my local-est gin, made by a nice couple of blokes by all accounts)
Hendricks is fabulous (and my fave bottle)
Both need Fever Tree Tonic
Gordons and Schweppes with ice and lemon is like a comfy pair of Converse - perfect for every day
+1. You can try the poncey designer gins but ATEOTD Gordons and Schweppes (NOT slimline!) does the best job for the money. It just works.Hendricks is fabulous (and my fave bottle)

Hi there,I can confirm Sion and Tom from Warner Edwards are indeed nice guys.
I have known them for about a year and have watched them grow from a small brand with one product to their current range of 4 products.
Hunt out the Victorias Rhubarb Gin if you can, its stonking with Ginger Ale.
Regards
Tim

Alternatively, Tanqeray for strength and Plymouth for smoothness.

Sipsmith - fabulous gin, actually made in London too.
Whilst on holiday last summer I bought FHM (like you do) and they had an article on gin describing it as new drink of choice.Sipsmith was mentioned and had a night story behind it - 3 blokes, sold everything to make it work.
I must buy a bottle.

It's rougher than a grated badger, and I don't see how by and large the same grain, still, and process could give a better result.

i overlooked sloe gin. terrible stuff, completely moreish!
grapefruit/chocolate still out there for me. i imagine the alcohol could be any clear spirit and still taste the same.
Is Sloe gin easy to make? I've got a blackthorn tree in the garden covered in sloes and fancy having a go at making it.grapefruit/chocolate still out there for me. i imagine the alcohol could be any clear spirit and still taste the same.
ps Waitrose have 8 bottles (150ml) of Fever tree for £3.50 or 4x200ml for £3
