Now I know this is a little different, but I thought it deserved a mention.
My GF brought it back after one of her business trips and my gosh, it's absolutely gorgeous nectar.
Saffron Gin from France. Very different, but beautiful on a sunny day with a BBQ.
Saw the title of thread and was just about to post the same, as bought a bottle out of curiosity after seeing it in our local offyMy GF brought it back after one of her business trips and my gosh, it's absolutely gorgeous nectar.

Hi there,
Well it seems the popularity of Gin is showing no signs of waning.
Visiting Imbibe, the bar industry show in London last week and seeing the launch of another raft of new gins was enough to make any venues back bar groan.
This one was nice and should give Bombay Sapphire a run for its money given that some of the botanicals are the same.

It was the FIL's birthday at the weekend and my wife got him a bottle of DR. J's Cambridge Gin. It's very nice indeed, quite an interesting array of botanicals. She's going to try and get me a bottle tomorrow but then I picked up a BBR No3 GIN in Waitrose tonight (£5 off) so that is next on my list.
I'd also recommend Edgertons Pink Gin, it's infused with Pomegranate for colour and flavour, it would almost certainly work with grapefruit.

Think I may ahve to try that. Have some rhubarb that looks good in the garden and never really use it. Symbolica said:
Bump because today is (apparently) World Gin Day!
So everybody make sure that you have a G&T to celebrate
Out of respect I have just settled down with a double caorunn gin and tonic, 40/60 mix with ice to the top of the glass and a squeeze and slice of lime. Delicious! http://www.caorunngin.comSo everybody make sure that you have a G&T to celebrate
