Pork loin chops with whole grain mustard and parsley cream sauce, served with buttery new potatoes, crumbled black pudding, with bits of smokey bacon and sweated onions and scrambled egg.

Yep. Not a conventional breakfast, but it was the first meal of the day, so breakfast!

At first, i thought the arty square plate fry up looked st. No self respecting fry up s arty, it's man ood.

Then, i realised it was fruit, and in effect the poster made gay continental brekkie into an artform. No matter what anyone else does, even my favoured quad decker bacon sausage egg and bean sanie, or an uber fry up can live with the coolness of that plate.

Hats off to you mr arty chef man, you've one the impossible - made continental brekkie a viable option when not on a holiday balcony smile

My entry from this morning.
Full Irish breakfast;
McWhinney's pork sausage, I prefer to take the meat out of casing and fry as a pattie.
Two over easy fried eggs laid this morning by my chickens.
White pudding, black pudding and crispy bacon from Dunbar butchers in Gorey, Wexford.
Obligatory beans, sauteed mushrooms and cheap bread toast which I prefer (Warburtons)
Jus de brun was on the side!

OK here's my effort. Just back off holiday so detoxing for a while and we can't eat the chicken's eggs at the moment due to one of them having had antibiotics, so this comp has come at the worst possible time for me.
So time to get inventive with - "The Fruity Fry Up" - strawberry 'bacon', yoghurt and peach 'fried egg' and blueberry and granola 'black pudding' smile
Excellent effort thumbup

Very similar to the desert we had at a black tie event last year (egg was sorbet and meringue, black pudding was a brownie, beans were jelly beans etc)

Looks rather tasty! And those sausages look like they were made directly out of pigs tails biggrin

I did wonder about the strangly thin sausages, what are they?
