How much did you pay for that?
It was about £13 (with cheese & bacon garlic bread), after using a £7 money-off voucher.

Isnt that just a big round cheese on toast?
Biggest most expensive cheese on toast ever! Still if the op gets excited about it then fair enough.

The whole point of a dirty pizza for me is the meat, peppers and other tastey toppings. As someone mentioned, it's just a big cheese on toast biggrin

Depends, at Dominos, I'd agree, cover it in pigs and horses cows, but a proper Italian thin crush with basil and buffalo mozerella, it's got to be as basic as possible. God I miss Italy.

Not been to a Pizza Hut since I was a student in '91, they used to do all-you-can-eat Mondays. There would be a queue of us round the block from the one in Birmingham ciy centre, we'd gorge ourselves stupid and not need to eat until Wednesday!

  • checks Pizzahut website* ... blimey, every lunchtime now! Mmmmmm .... pizza!

I get excited about additional crazy toppings, not when it's been reduced to just one!

It's like KFC offering a mega bucket with no chicken, just skins!

...actually, that'd be awesome!

A proper margherita is always my benchmark whenever I visit a restaurant claiming to sell authentic Neapolitan pizzas. There's a few brilliant places in London, even took the train down from Leeds once just for a pizza. Thankfully a decent one opened up much closer to home (less than 3 miles away) just over a year ago so that hits the spot.

I love the skin. I can easily toss the 'meat' once I've picked off the crispy coating.

Lol. One of my ex's and I used to go to KFC. She would pull the coating off and eat the meat only. Me, i'd give her mine, eat her coating, then the coating she pick off mine.

God I miss her, lol.

Eugh, I've got a pass for whatever I want tonight and now I'm torn. Think I'm going to need fried chicken and some sort of kebab wrap after what I've just read, but I do also fancy a pizza. Decisions, decisions.

Bit like the bits of batter that fall off the fish at the fish & chip shop.

Donner kebab pizza plus some fried chicken on the side?

Sorted. Only had three pints and I still couldn't get my mind to focus on such a simple combo. Saying that, my mind is still subject to change.

Have they done the "cheeseburger crown" pizza in the uk? Keep seeing it advertised, haven't tried one though

Yep, had a bacon cheeseburger crust pizza last night! The one we ordered was also from the current limited edition 'X-Tremely' range, but was called 'X-Tremely Meaty'. My photo does it no justice (very quick iPhone photo, whilst trying to keep a cat away from the contents), but it was actually very nice. Absolutely loads of meat, and the bacon cheeseburger ends were pretty good, in a slightly shameful way.

It was a large (although the photo makes it look kinda small) and worked out at £9.99 due to a 50% off code; would have been £20 otherwise eek

Looks like they drop it from a height into that box hehe

It still seems mighty expensive though.

I can't bring myself to pay for Pizza any more given how easy and much nicer it is, and somewhat fun, to make yourself.
