Another pointless kitchen gadget that is cluttering up my worktops. The wife "wanted" one so got a Kenwood job, used it a few times, realised what a PITA it is to clean, and now sits idle. Perhaps every 6 months or so she'll get the idea back in her head and have another spell of making them but for the most part a waste of money and space.

Personally I hate smoothies anyway, did have visions of making frozen cocktails in it but two kids (3 and 1) have put paid to my cocktail drinking frown

Nutribullet blenders are ace.
I concur - excellent appliance - two cup sizes and screw-on handle are nice features.
Is it worth just getting the basic model?

We got the basic one.

It's great, no problems at all.
