A few of us are undertaking the 72oz steak challenge, finish it with chips and salad in an hour and its free.

Anybody else conquered anything similar?

The actual steaks hehe

Most likely miserably fail but might as well have a go!

Failed a 32oz burger with bacon and cheese, chips, salad an onion rings in 30 minutes.

Hardest thing was probably the bread it was a boule!

Sounds tame compared to that.

Eat a big breakfast in the morning then nothing all day, it'll boost your metabolism and make it easier to digest!

Probably a wife's tale but it's what I was told to do to prepare for an eating challenge I failed.

I've watched enough man v food to advise wink eat as fast as you can because once it hits your stomach your not going to eat much more.

Post updates of how miserably you do. I don't think I'd get anywhere close to half.

Ask for it well done to get rid of the moisture.

Complete it and throw a tenner to a charity of your choice!

Amazing she isn't a huge blob!
Saw 2 guys trying a challenge at an American diner the other week..1 was failing badly at 4 2ft long chilli dogs in 2 buns, plus chips, the other faring better with 12 burgers fries and a shake.
I had eaten a 2ft chilli dog, fries, shake and a dessert and was about to explode..so no way i could have done it.
That Adam chap from man v food IIRC advised drinking lots of water to make the stomach bigger.

She's swallowing chunks of meat whole. The only way it can be done I'm sure.

I did a 32oZ Porterhouse steak whilst in Florida a couple of years ago

Longhorn steak house
A loaf of bread is put on the table for 4 of us followed by side salads that are like a full salad here.

Battered shrimps to start again shared by 4 of us (around 100 shrimp)

Then the main event the steak came out and i nearly fell over. It was on an oversize plate with chips and onion rings in a bowl to the side.

I finished the steak apart from the fat and then the meat sweats started. I could not resist the deep fried cheesecake though which tipped me over the edge and i had to release my button on my jeans.
