Yo Spunk, have you tried *real* biltong?

I don't mean the stuff you get in packets in the supermarkets, but proper fresh stuff?

No comparison, imo.

where is the best place to get it from in the UK, preferably online or in person in London.

I sometimes use http://www.thesavanna.co.uk at London bridge.

Strangely enough I found Fortnum and Mason cheaper so started going there but its a ball ache with all the tourists around.

Firstly: I'm not fat.

Secondly: I've never known a single person for whom broccoli is a guilty pleasure, with the possible exception of myself - I only eat it when my husband isn't around because he hates the smell!

Agree completely. Broccoli is fantastic. As are brussels sprouts and cauliflower.

You'll need to, they can be a bit "windy".

Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers that have been refrigerated.

God bless Costco six packs.

Likewise, I've done 2 packs in less than ten minutes before, not sure what it is about them but if any amount of cadburys fingers are in my possession then they are on borrowed time.

I'm nearly as bad with chocolate hobnobs, and it's a good thing those cadbury snack biscuits only come in 6 packs.

Mostly very savoury stuff...

Salami
Peperami
Parma ham
Many and varied cheeses, particularly smoked Wensleydale, Comte, black pepper Boursin, parmesan...
KFC. Original recipe stuff on the bone. And hot wings, mmmmmm.
McChicken McNuggets. I know they're garbage. I worked there when I was 16 and we referred to them as "battered cysts"... But they're addictive!
Burger King burgers, Big Kings or Whoppers, again technically crap but hit the spot anyway.
Garlic mushrooms - whether breaded, creamy, or just fried in garlicky butter.
Fresh crusty bread and proper butter, none of this low fat low salt dross.
Quality ice cream, Ben and Jerry's as a minimum standard.
Olives.

Hard to pick the biggest vice of all the above, think just salty, fatty stuff in general is my vice! hehe

Walkers Pork Pies.

Before they became freely available in Waitrose you could only buy them it Leicester. For 30 years I used to pretend I was going to see my parents at Xmas but the real reason was to visit the Walkers shop. Oddly, I still associate the smell of fresh veg with pies because the Walkers shop was on Cheapside, next to the veg market.
