We have such a fine and wide variety of crips in this country it makes me proud. When I go abroad it's like being in a crisp desert.

Lord knows what visitors to this country think when faced with whole aisles of the things.....

Anyhow, I'm addicted to the re-launched Salt and Shakes, can't get enough.
for long years here in Germany all I could get were plain or 'hungarian flavour' which is paprika

recently salt and vingegar, and cheese and onion have started to appear, thank the lord

still only in massive family packs though
Depending where you are in Germany, consider taking a trip across the border to Poland where crisp aisles can exceed a mile in length.

awesome, but I'm on the opposite side

In Holland they have a bit better range, with weird things like Bolognese flavour being popular

Walkers Pulled Pork and BBQ sauce my new favourite. Their Steak Fajita are quite nice too but the rest (e.g. cheesey beans on toast) are meh.
The pulled pork ones aren't that good I don't think, same with the Fajita. Chip Shop chicken curry are the ones to go for!! Got the cheesy beans for work tonight smile

Am I the only person that has Warburtons thick sliced (blue packet), lurpak slightly salted butter (lots of), Salt and Vinegar Squares and lashings of salad cream? The top piece of bread obviously has the obligatory hand print and minor rips from the crisps...

Skips and Marmite, white bread. Shut it, just try it.

Cheese, ketchup and S&V squares is an other.

Funny story here of life imitating art. In response to those daft hipsters in Shoreditch opening their "Cereal Cafe" this satirical site did a joke piece about Belfast getting its own Crisp Sandwich restaurant

http://theulsterfry.com/business/crisp-sandwich-ge...

the response was such that someone has now ACTUALLY opened a crisp sandwich restaurant!

Apologies for the daily wail link but it seems that he's doing a roaring trade and plans to keep going. Surely needs to be an addition to any PH tour of Belfast?

Bread, spot of butter, Walkers Salt and Vinegar. Done. No more is necessary than that for pure taste sensation.
