I don't eat chicken, but like Nandos because of the veggie pitta that they do.

There are in at least 3 locations within London now, maybe more. I know of Central, Angel and Westfield.

Not so sure what the fuss is all about though, rather average burger chucked at me in a tinfoil wrapper. Nothing on Meat mission IMO.

Back to Nando's though, it has got an almost cult following but don't expect too much other than a better than KFC style lunch!

I went to the Nandos in West Quay, I was expecting something special but was very disappointed. Dont understand what all the hype is about.

5 in central London, Manchester, Birmingham, Solihull, Bluewater, Guildford, Lakeside, Reading

Thanks for your info, I'll nay bother, as Solihull has a Handmade Burger Co above it yum

Can't stand Nandos, went once in London abnout 10 years ago.

Can't stang Wagamama either - Tampopo is far superior yes

I can remember when they first opened a branch at Ealing Common, it was a real novelty and we used to get takeaways from there sometimes as a treat. Didn't miss it when I moved - and the one in Milton Keynes, nearest me, is always really busy when I pass. Went to a branch in London last year and was underwhelmed. Costly and average. Maybe my tastes have changed. Certainly not how I remembered it.

Nando's is always seemingly (if my local is anything to go by) full of 16-25 year olds who think £11.95 each for a tiny bit of badly cooked chicken and soggy chips is good value.

Deffo worse for you health wise, but I'd rather have KFC.

Jumped up p....?

It was tongue in cheek. You need to take your head for a sh*t.

Not just you, Nandos is a dump, horrid dry chicken and full of screaming children.

Added to the list of places I'll never go again along with TGI Fridays and Frankie & Bennies.

What an utter bellend. I've never been to Nando's but I can't imagine any restaurant (or any brand for that matter) being so good I'd have their logo branded on me for life.

Its just KFC with a knife and fork, that is very very over priced for what it is.

I went once to see what the hype was about. From my encounter it was; someone with no interest in food or cooking putting a spatchcocked rat of a chicken on a grill then you put your own sauce on from a bottle. All for the best part of £20. No thanks.

He has a point. Nandos is st, but somehow acceptable to people who sneer at fast food.

Nandos, frankie and bennys, tgi, etc etc - they're just fast food without the honesty.

One other issue I have with Nandos is that the "Extra Extra Hot" sauce is medium at best.

Last time I was at KFC, which admittedly was when Colonel Sanders was still alive, the chicken was coated in savoury batter. Nandos chicken, or at least the sort we had, was basically just roast chicken. So it was easier to eat the chicken sans skin.

Out of interest what do the people who love it order? I went a few years ago and got quarter chicken, chips and corn I think it was. It was okay but cost over a tenner which I thought was expensive. I do like the Nando's sauces and rubs which I buy from the supermarket.

I review Wagamama from time to time for the mystery dining company.

Usually they're pretty good, but I find some dishes bland so stick to the hotter ones.

As for Nandos - it's okay once in a while but you do feel a little short changed sometimes.
