Try Warwick services.

Always a queue and they even have a 'pre pay' option where it takes even longer.

Useless feckers.

Massive KFC urge right now.

I'd have a three piece variety with gravy and some extra hot wings.

Funnily enough they're the only "spicy" takeaway that gives me a bad stomach.
Just read that quote and thought I don't remember posting in this topic before - that's my exact order most times (unless I'm not too hungry and it's downsized to a two-piece).

I can usually tell by the weight of the bag I'd they're short-chickening me and watch them like a hawk when they pack it up.

Anyone had one of the new pulled chicken things?

Worst invention ever!

It sounds nice, it looks nice in the pictures, however my wrap was firstly, completely void of chicken, looked more like a sauce that had been smeared across the surface of the wrap, combined with the lack of salad or coleslaw my wrap looked more like a flat sock than anything of substance, secondly, despite being made fresh, was stone cold.

Ive had the pulled chicken burger, and really liked it. Had to try 3 different stores to get it though as the first two didn't sell them,as it wasn't halal!! fk off with your stupid sky fairy rules!

Plenty of meat in it though when i did eventually find a store to sell it.

The burger may be worth a try as the pulled chicken is in addition to the chicken burger itsself, where as the wraps are pulled chicken only.

I had the burger at my local, and it was average. You couldn't taste the pulled chicken at all, the chicken itself was dry, the coleslaw managed to be chewy and the fries we're devoid of any taste. I also tried the wrap which had 1 pathetic piece of chicken, and what appeared to be 7 tonnes of coleslaw.

Not at all good.

Last night , i fancied a pulled chicken . her indoors wanted a normal 2 piece meal. the only barely english speaker behind the counter told me , nothing for 40 minutes !! 2 poor guys had already been waiting for 20 minutes and were pissed to say the least. this has happened 3 times recently at the kfc on stanningly road leeds. utterly useless !! thankfully there is a good kebab shop up the road that got my custom.

^^ Armley KFC is ste!! your best bet is the one at Horsforth roundabout but even they have their iffy days. Best to go at 1pm as its lunch time and everything is nice and fresh.

I had a pulled chicken burger the other day, or rather i should have had a pulled chicken burger the other day but got one with half the ingredients substituted, the coleslaw was normal kfc one, and it was in a normal bun too. Still quite tasty though. Still doesn't beat a hot fresh zinger tower burger though mmmmmn

Armley and Horsforth are shining beacons of excellence versus Greengates. Beware!

We had a little precinct shop type KFC for years. It was as bad as described by many above. People queued out the door yet still only cooking on demand, 30 minutes to get in and get served etc... used to hate going there.

Then a Pizza hut went out of business and was replaced with a drive through KFC, about 1 mile away from the shop.

End of story for the shop... the drive-through would take your order at one window, you drive the car round the corner of the building to the collection window, and 9 times out of 10 they'd be holding your bag out to you.

Shop closed 3 months after the drive-through opened. smile

I'll join in, Widnes KFC. In the drive through, arrived at 9:50, tried to place order only to be told "sorry we close at 10pm". I said yes but its 9:50 and they said but we close at 10pm...ad infinitum. I didn't win.

Another occasion I was told they were out of chicken, yes Kentucky Fried Chicken had no actual chicken, making them Kentucky Fried Nothing. I would have just shut up shop; what did they think was going to happen? No chciken you say, well alright I'll have 6 large fires and 4 tangos instead please.

I like KFC but I've never been to one with good service. They should visit MacDonalds and get some hints n tips.
