Not like that
For sausage making.
My first attempt was using a little hand powered machine for the stuffing and mincing and was a resounding success.
So much so that I purchased a cheapish electric mincer/stuffer from fleabay to process about 10kg worth !
Unfortunately it lunched itself pretty much immediately
We struggled through the 10kg of meat with the hand grinder, then split the stuffing tube whilst filling the sausages !
All the meat went in the freezer for a rainy day.
Not wishing to be beaten again, I have a semi pro stuffer which I got as a gift - http://www.sausagemaking.org/acatalog/Fully_Stainl...
Now I need to sort a mincer out. Doing it by hand is a pita and I want to make loads so I need a recommendation for a decent electric mincer.
I keep eyeing this up but am struggling to justify the cost, surely there are sub £100 mincers out there not made of cheese !

Do you have a KitchenAid mixer? If so, I bought the mincing attachment earlier this week and it worked really well, double minced 2kg of various beef cuts for homemade burgers in minutes. Was previously also doing it by hand, loved the results but took a bloody long time! I also put everything in the freezer for 30 mins or so before I start, find it makes the whole process a lot more manageable.
