Normal?

I'm tucking into a large glass of Rioja, the Mrs suggested an early night so I brought my wine up, business taken care of, now I'm enjoying the wine in bed.

Does anybody else do this? Very civilised IMO.

Indeed, I'll often download something on sky movies then grab my wine and go to bed.

You filthy heathen. hehe

A cuppa and the occasional ginger biscuit, but alcohol? That's wrong - unless it's a bottle of fizz involved in a lewd sex game, but sometimes that's a bit wrong too. But for different reasons.

I can't drink alcohol in bed,it's fundamentally wrong. I have to be in my seat on the sofa with a small whisky. I can drink tea or lemsip in bed but that's all

Perfectly acceptable.

It's when you wake up in the morning and have to finish the end of the bottle it's a problem! :-)

Used to be my last task of the evening, Fix my drink for when I woke up.

Three fingers of vodka, breakfast of champions.

Kept the shakes at bay till lunch smile

Really? Sounds great.

I did once take a bottle of bud to bed on a Wednesday night for no reason whatsoever. She didn't like that.

Bloody right it is. What could be more indulgent than good company, ultimate comfort, intimacy and a good red. I got some of those enormous wine glasses for that very purpose, and you should share, not a glass each. One of life's great pleasures.

Leaving some in the bottle? What sort of crazy world do you live in?

One where one gets, erm, distracted from the champagne by one's companion? A most agreeable world indeed... then marriage comes along. frown

Well... Sometimes it's a struggle to finish the last bottle.... When youve drunk the whole case.... By yourself!

If passing out on the sofa until the morning with a drink next to me classes as bed, at least once a week.

That was years ago. I'm much more of a food and drink snob these days.

Chartreuse anyone?

Drinking booze in bed is great. Sometimes I'll fire up the playstation and not move all day whilst I work through a slab of tinnies. Plus I can wee in the empty cans and throw them out the window onto the lawn.
