Once opened you will want to consume <14 days, as the disposable dispensing pipes 'mould up' before too long.

Ok great thanks. Has anyone found anywhere else to order kegs from? Seems to be plenty out there.

Typical, it has been reduced to £150 today for Black Friday with a Keg. Great value!

Loving the Leffe blonde out of it so far. I'm keen to get a few kegs ordered up. Is there anywhere people have found them at reasonable prices?

Mines is due to land today, well according to UK Mail it'll be landing in the next 40 minutes. Super excited.
Comes with keg of Leffe Blonde. I've ordered some kegs of Juliper from beirtap.com, very helpful so far.

So far this has been a joy, i can come home, stick a glass in the freezer, then pour a fantastic pint

Had one since end of summer and love it. My choice is Franziskaner Weissbier, from beer hawk.

Works very well.

The prices of kegs are good as well from beerhawk.
They'll collect your old ones & credit your account £5 per keg.

Hi folks, I've started a Facebook page to try and help us all source reasonable kegs here in the UK and abroad. It's on facebook and called perfect draft keg tips. Please feel free to join, it's a brand new page so will take a few days to get my head around.

Cheers,

Neil

Anybody still using these?

I see the Krups one all over Facebook.

But each torps is only 2 litres which would make it for only for self indulgence.

I've got the "sub".

Tastes much better than bottles or cans (to me and the Mrs) and it cools the beer really well.

Very pleased with it.

So you would recommend it. Can I ask what price you got it and do you get your re-ups from sub and which beers is the best.

I might one for the weekend but it’s the 2 litre torps that’s putting me off.

I got mine from the sub website, link above.

At the time they had a starter pack of beer which had a good discount.

Favorites so far are Birra Morreti, Aflingen and Desperados.

Get my torps from there too.

Take a look at the site, there is a fantastic deal coming on Friday ..... I'll probably go for it and get a second machine, so "yes" I would highly recommend it.

I have recently started using the PerfectDraft again. I don’t use it as much as I used to as the range of beers doesn’t fit as well with my taste as it used to.

I still like the occassional Leffe Blonde and Beer Hawk do these kegs for £20 each sometimes.

I am tempted by the Sub, and I actually like the 2L format. 6L is fine if you have a few people round or you are planning a couple of sessions, but I don’t drink at home that much and find that 6L of a strong beer like Leffe can actually last too long!

The kegs say they should be used within 30 days of opening, but I definitely think there is noticeable deterioration after the first week.

For anybody that’s interested the krups sub is currently £69.99 with 2 Heineken’s, think I might give it a bash and stock up on some beers.

I’ve wasted £70 on worse things.
