Have any of you had problems with the coffee temperature being too cold, and if so, is there an easy fix?

My parent's one is running cool and is out of guarantee.

TIA

Running a cycle without a pod heats the machine up more so the coffee is hotter.

Generally run a cycle of water into the cup first to preheat. Failing that ring the club they should give you around 40 percent off on a new machine with it being out of warranty.

Have you checked the manual, for mine it says:

Coffee is not hot enough. Preheat cup. Descale if necessary

Got a sleeve of each of the variations yesterday. Only tried vanilla cardamom so far. Will report back on the others.

Certainly interested to hear what they are like. Was disappointed with the Milano and Palerno, but miss the Peru Secreto.

Thought the Milano was ok, don't think that much of the palermo. Much better then the South American collection from a while back though. Gave away a whole box of them...

Have tended to stay on either Kazaar or dharkan (can't remember but whichever has the higher intensity).

Anything similar to those?

As an aside, ordered my £75 machine the other day and just got an email now from nespresso club saying that my promotion registration has been successful. The first of three £25 credits has been added to my account, which I can even spend in he boutiques which is pretty cool. The following ones get added within 10 days of that being spent.

I got an inissia and aeroccino3, and couldn't get the promotional 3x £25 applied through the website as the serial is 7 digits and not 9/10 digits. Had to ring them up, and they knew it was an issue.

The machine is quite good given the convenience, but my Gaggia classic with a PID conversion was significantly better at both coffee and milk (until I killed it)...the convenience is such I'm in no hurry to go back to 20 mins to warm the machine through though...

I got it to work - the serial on the aeroccino itself is only 7 digits, but on the box it's 10.

Haven't heard back yet, though.

Neither did I, but check your account, my first £25 credit was there waiting for me.

Same one I got, stumped me too. I just stuck the 7 digits in and it all worked. Submitted the details all yesterday and got the email confirming it all today.

My first £25 is on there, not sure which welcome gift to go for, probably just the cube thing so i have somewhere to put them all for now.

Bizarre, I did try the longer one on the box to no avail. Anything other than 9 or 10 digits didn't want to let me through the form.

Ciocco Ginger is really good... Best one yet in my opinion, but I like ginger!

Had a £20 voucher for CafePod in this months Car magazine, has anyone tried them? I've only ever used genuine capsules before.

These are pretty good, not tried them all, but half decent and ideal for my work machine where we get through 30/40 pods a day.

Been using the Lidl pods - quite decent especially at the price - seem to be identical to the ones M&S sell...

Our local CoOp is carrying a 10 pck with 3 flavours - useful in a coffee emergency.

The only missing one from any high street alternative I've seen is a Decaffinated variant - the OH likes a decaff in the evening so it's nespresso for that currently.

Took a punt so restocked some of the lunghi and got all 3 specials.
The Vanilla Amaretti is pleasant, you can taste both elements.
The Vanilla Cardamom is bland - couldn't taste that much, glad I just got the 1 box.
The Ciocco Ginger - woh! serious blast of ginger. Love it - glad I bought 3 packs - may have to get more before they stop selling them.
