That looks like it would help me not make a mess everywhere!

We've just bought a pixie aluminium thing and it seems to be leaking water through the capsule bit and into the overspill reservoir. It'll fill the reservoir after 4 uses. That isn't normal is it?

No, not normal.

Nespresso warranty service is excellent, but if you've just bought it then I'd reject it and get it replaced.

What capsules are you using?
I had this with some cheap capsules on a group on deal which turned out to be the older capsules.I believe nespresso changed them a few years ago

I only get that when I use third party pods, definitely not right if your using original pods.

Interesting. We have used the lidl capsules whilst we waited for our first nespresso delivery. It doesn't seem much better with the genuine capsules though.

Chucked the boxes away now so I doubt John Lewis will take it back and replace. Bugger.

If you registered on the Nespresso site to get free pods via a voucher, then hopefully Nespresso would then know its a new machine ?

If you have the receipt, JL should not have any problem refunding a faulty machine.

I'm sure that one way or another, either JL or Nespresso will replace it FOC. Both firms are very accommodating.

Anyone tried the new strength 9 lunghi yet ? (Envivo) - I get the impression it's a new permanent one, not a special edition.

Yes they're quite pleasant with a nice flavour. Only bought one box to try so need to pick up some more.

They were giving complimentary ones out in the shop last week when I went in to buy some more pods. They also offered us an ice coffee, I thought I'd have some of that........They put a shot of Espresso in some fking tonic water hurl

Have tried them but prefer the Fortissio - a bit smoother. Still not a bad cup though.

Made a remarkable discovery in Tesco. They have started selling Starbucks Dark Roast Espresso, works really well as a lungo for me, couple of them in a mug every morning and i'm a happy man.

The Taylors of Harrogate capsules seem to be on offer at a few places at the moment (£2.50 for 10) but, like a lot of the others, they don't have the depth or crema of the official stuff.

New XMAS range are available, not sure i'm all that fussed by the german cake idea though but worth a try.

Did anyone try the other single origin ones that were selling for 70p a pod that I can't seem to find anymore?

Ive just taken advantage of the latest offer from Nespresso. Bought a Inissia and Aeroccino for £99, and got £75 to spend in the Nespresso store. So ive just ordered 100 pods for delivery and a couple of quid. Still got £50 to spend! Looking forward to trying the various flavours, and I see it as something to support my stove top and Aeropress to get my fix of coffee.

I've tried the three 'Viennese Pastries' ones and actually I rather like them, I think they work well - rely on your own personal tastes though.
