I tried a Grand on Friday from a service station. It was pretty good actually, although I felt it needed another sauce instead of ketchup and mayo. It wasn't messy to eat, the salad was fresh, and it was a good all-rounder for me. Not as good as the Big Tasty, but even that is hit and miss with the quality sometimes. I also had the best fries I've had for ages with it. I'd started to lose faith in McDonalds fries as the last few lots I've had have been ste. So not a bad experience for me at McDonalds this time, although I still prefer Whoppers.

I think 2 * double cheeseburgers for £3 is better than a 1/4 pounder at £2.79 add large fries at £1.39 and for £4.40 your full - I don't like their drinks so it works for me.

Burger King burgers, especially the whopper are far superior to anything McDonald's sells.
The Whopper is the only thing on the planet that gives me heartburn - every time. Odd.

I ordered two cheeseburgers the other week. Both with Big Mac sauce in place of ketchup.

Different. Not quite as good as either original but still very good.
