Because you can't get them where I live.

I didn't eat it before because we had no custard. You can't get that either.

Three years later, a visitor brought us some custard.

depends if that's the label coming off, or the tin bulging a bit. If the later, I'd be careful if I were you...

Go for it. Live post the experience, or maybe stream it on Youtube for us to be able to call the emergency services when you succumb to whatever it is that you succumb to.

It will be fine, the method of getting those into tins leaves virtually no room for air and so deterioration is very, VERY slow! It might not taste quite as good as if it were recently bought, but if there are any issues you will know from the first taste.
