Thank you tuffer, I shall give that a go.

Incidentally, where do you chaps source some of these harder to get gins? I was after a bottle of Monkey 47 so got talking to the owner of a specialist shop (admittedly his expertise was in whisky but did have a selection of gins) near me. He said he used to stock it but alas no longer. He said it wasn't popular and the cost for only 50cl was prohibitive. He did recommend the Cotswolds gin so it was rude not to. Haven't tried it yet mind.
I can buy mine local for around 50 quid but buying rarer stuff you can't get in the shops you'd be better just buying it online. I know Amazon sell Monkey 47......I've still yet to taste/find a better gin.

Currently working my way through:

Beafeater 24
Bloom
Opihr
Gin Mare
Tanqueray 10
Edinburgh Gin
Hendricks
Bombay Sapphire

Can't get Monkey 47 out here in the UAE from any of the bottle shops so have to bring that into the country, it is still my favourite.

Not tried the Bloom yet as I only picked that up yesterday. I have become very partial to a drop of Gin Mare with Fentman's Mediterranean Tonic Water.

My favourite to. Love this with the Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water. Once the holiday juice had run out I found they do it in the WhiskyExchange, so when in London I pick up a bottle or three.

Tried some of the saffron gin earlier today in the pub, was nice. We have a couple of Yorkshire gins picked up at a food fair recently I'll take a pic. I'm developing a bit of a gin obsession so on the hunt for more. Anyone been to jenever in Liverpool? Great gin bar!

Amazon have been pretty good in the past and quite cheap.

Here's my current selection, adding a few to the list soon though;
Burleighs London dry
BlackWoods
Gvine
..

The Ferdinands is great-aged in Riesling barrels!

Another random obscure local one:

Really good actually. Has displaced Plymouth as our standard...
I love Lighthouse. Have you tried it with the recommended (whole) black peppercorns?

At the moment i'm really partial to St Georges Terrior - Very earthy. Lovely.

I finally opened this on Friday when friends were visiting from Blighty. It's bloody lovely!

A couple of independent yet similar choices in there to others in this thread. Seed lip is non alcoholic as Mrs 2CV is pregnant.

Currently on rotation:

The Botanist (big fan).

And

Which I think can be secured through Masters of Malt
https://www.masterofmalt.com/gin/four-pillars-dist...

It uses Australian botanicals and makes a mean negroni. One of my all time favourites.

Just as a little snippet of an addition to this thread, I ordered a bottle of gin from the Isle of Harris distillery at the weekend which arrived first thing this morning. Not bad considering I'm on the south coast and about as far away from Harris as possible while still being in the UK.
As for what it's like, no idea as it's intended to be a birthday gift.

This little lot cost me just over £10 in total. Should be good for tonight.
