Aldi - Pigs Cheeks in red wine gravy - sampling tonight will report back.

Noticed they have a new range of venison, wild boar and apple sausages and burgers in stock.

All above have really good nutritional profiles for those looking to get a better portion for your calories

These are far more tasty than they look and I often take one to work for me for lunch break. 7 mins in a 900W micro on medium with a quick stir half way. Really thick and filling, especially with a couple of bread rolls. lick

Clicky.

Asda's own brand Jalapeños are far far superior to both el del paso and discovery and I cant get enough of them
I ran out of my asda Jalapeño stock pile a few days ago so out of desperation I got a jar of El Del Paso ones from my local Tesco.

Upon opening them I was disgusted, mushy, soft grey coloured and tasteless.

They honestly went in the bin, trip to asda is on the cards today for another 5 or so jars.

Mrs Balls Chilli Chutney (from Sainsbury's) - not sickly sweet and a nice bite to it.

Sorry, but I don't see how a supermarket offering a st product which is just as st as something that comes out of McDonald's qualifies as a hidden supermarket treasure confused

Haha! When I was with my veggie ex we used to make veterinarian McMuffins with meat-free burgers. In Asda recently I noticed they now stock meat-free sausage patties
