I'm on the lookout for a new coffee machine, budget is around £250, not much room for creep!
I like to use ground coffee, so rules out anything which uses pods. I'd also want a milk frother. No need to be plumbed into the mains water.
My old delonghi(sp) gave up a few weeks ago and I miss my morning coffee.
Any ideas?

Plenty of De'Longhi deals on Amazon etc, was tempted by a B2C myself @ £230

Lidl one at £39 does perfectly good ground pressurised coffee, and the one time I used the milk bubbler, seemed adequate. Waiting for it to fail for upgrade opportunities, but nothing in the 9 months of ownership biggrin

The old Gaggia Classic's are great for the money. I've had one for about 3 years now, used daily and been faultless.

These ones - Gaggia Classic RI8161 Coffee Machine with Professional Filter Holder - Stainless Steel Body https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0000C72XS/ref=cm_sw_r...

The newer model has been significantly reduced in quality I believe since they were purchased by Philips I think? Seems like there's a few of the good old ones around still anyway...

I've got this and have never had a problem with it, it's brilliant for the price, not sure why I'd pay anymore. 2 year warranty too.

On the off chance you still want one, I have the above for sale due to a house move - I've ever modified the steam wand to upgrade it to the Rancillio steamer (much better for microfoam).

Quite heavy, so not sure how much it would cost to get couriered, but I'd do a deal for a fellow forumer.
